DESCRIPTION: A Chinese cloisonne enameled box. Features a rotund form with a convex design. Garnished with a maroon red base enamel, further embellished with an array of vibrantly hued, wire lined, foo dog motifs, enveloped by wired detailing. The interior of both the base and the lid is garnished by intricately enameled lotus flower motifs, and double fishes. Finished with a center, applied, jade medallion carved with open work floral motifs and engraved detailing.
