Description
A group of 8 Ecuadoran ceramic heads, AD 500 - 1000, several Jamacoaque and includes a mold-made La Tolita figure of a priest transforming into a jaguar. Each with good detail and some with remnants of red cinnabar pigment. H: 2 ½ in (6.4 cm) to 4 ½ in (11.4 cm). Ex Dr. John Hilsabeck estate, Orange County.
