Description
A large Egyptian seated wooden figure, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, wearing a short kilt and wig, his face nicely detailed with large eyes. Well-preserved with much remaining paint beneath light deposits, H: 10 ¼ in (26 cm). Mounted on wood base. Ex Northern California private collection; Ex Seaby, London; Ex collection of Charles K. Feldman, Beverly Hills, CA (D 1968), acquired in Paris in the late 1950’s.
