AN AMERICAN LATE CLASSICAL MAHOGANY CARD TABLE, PROBABLY BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, MID 19TH CENTURY, the curved corner rectangular swivel top over a side skirt with a bead molded edge, on a ring turned tapered pedestal with leafy sprays, over an acanthus leaf carved baluster support, on a twisted socle, joining quadruped scrolled knee splayed carved legs, terminating in mounted ormolu hair paw feet cups, and raised on brass casters. Height: 29 3/4" Width: 34 3/4" Depth: 17 5/8"

Some general surface scratches, wear on the edge of the top interior; skirt with some losses of the bead molding, and chips on the veneer near the top, which include some losses and repairs; dust debris throughout, mild chips on the carving on pedestal, and the top not affixed to the base, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
