A GROUP OF FOUR SPANISH COLONIAL GILT AND POLYCHROME PAINTED CARVED WOOD SANTOS FIGURES, 19TH/20TH CENTURY, comprising a figure of a bald African standing male wearing a blue gown and floral decorated cape, holding a pair of keys in his right hand, atop a wooden plinth with canted front edge, height: 7 1/2"; a figure of a robed man with traces of tooled gilt decoration, wearing a belt and skull cap, traces of painted decoration to his face, retaining his glass eyes, with empty sockets for his extended forearms and hands, height: 10 5/8"; a figure of a robed man with traces of gilt decoration to his gown wearing a cape with traces of pink floral decoration to the interior and blue to the exterior, his head covered by a cloth, with metal attachments for wings, height: 10 5/8"; and a standing male figure with his right hand at his chest wearing a tooled gilt belted gown and cloak, height: 14 1/8".

In overall poor condition with extensive losses to painted and gilt decoration, losses to carving.
