Engineering and Surveying Tools, including: Troughton & Simms, London brass-cased pocket sextant, ca. 1850, with screw on cover, 1-140 calibrated inset silver scale and magnifier arm, 3" diam., 1 1/2" high; Cased Troughton & Simms, London Abney clinometer, used to measure elevation levels above a horizontal line, glass bubble intact, side stamped with maker's name, in fitted leather covered case, 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 2 3/4"; Brass surveyor gravity clinometer level by Thomas Armstrong & Bro, Manchester, No. 847, 1914, 8" high, 2 1/4" x 1 3/4"; Negretti & Zambra, London cased bronze surveyor's compass, with flange and screw post mount, 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 1 3/4"; and (2) Pair of brass drafting calipers, 5" and 8 1/4" long. All in good condition.
