A silver finger ring comprising a round-section hoop with flared shoulders, flat plaque with inset carnelian cabochon, intaglio advancing lion. 8.33 grams, 24mm overall, 18.46mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8 1/4, Europe 18.0, Japan 17) (1"). Property of a North London lady; gifted from her father's collection; formerly with a Mayfair gallery, London, UK; previously acquired in the 1980s.
