With a career in Hollywood that spanned more than six decades and saw him cast in a variety of roles from 'ethnic villians' to brooding tough guys, Anthony Quinn was not only a celebrated actor, but a talented artist. The famed lead in 'Zorba the Greek' briefly studied under Frank Lloyd Wright - who was the first to encourage Quinn to take acting lessons - through the Taliesin Fellowship and later acquired an appreciation and understanding of art through independent scholarship and his own collecting habits. In conjunction with his legendary film career, Quinn's work has been exhibitied in New York, Mexico City, and Paris, and represented in private collections the world over since the 1980s.
