Description
French Renaissance Revival walnut canopy vitrine, late 19th century, having a rectangular stepped cornice above dentil molding and a carved acanthus frieze flowing into a canopy carved in the manner of swaged drapery, fronted by alternating carved shells and pendants and resting on carved and fluted columnar supports, above a demilune vitrine having a gallery topping one beveled glass door opening to three interior glass shelves and a mirrored back, flanked by curved sidelights and fronted by columnar supports, resting on a rectangular base having a wide carved apron rising on fluted and twist reeded columns, above a rectangular molded plinth backed with carved panels, the whole resting on compressed bun feet, 104"h x 54"w x 24"d.
