Edwardian 1908 sterling silver beaker. Nathan & Hayes, Chester, 1908. Beaker is a replica of the 1496 formerly in the Cassel collection. The original beaker is the earliest known fully hallmarked piece of English silver which is now in the silver collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Good condition. Period monogram TW with sun symbol in center. Weighs 286 grams or 9.2 troy ounces. Measures 3.4 inches high x 3.6 inches diameter.
