Excellent 18th C Small Ram's Horn Peel Early - Mid 18th C Forged Iron 14 7/8"H X 2 3/4"W X 3/4"D Rare, very fine forged iron small hearth peel or scraper. Ram's horn ended handle, the beveled edge shaft of double triangulated form, transitioning to flattened curved design, with curved cornered blade, all forged from a single piece of stock. Ancient dark natural patina, the blade with old polished surfaces.
