American, late 19th century. A Kyser & Rex "Organ Bank" miniature cast iron mechanical bank, marked with title on front and 235 / PAT MAY 31, 81 / JUNE 13, 82 on underside. Place coin on side of slot and turn handle to spin monkey around and push coin into slot; ht. 4, wd. 4, dp. 2 in.

Condition

Paint loss, especially to monkey, and wear consistent with age and use.
