American, late 19th century. A Judd cast iron mechanical bank of a bucking mule. Place coin in slot and release donkey to throw off the figure and knock coin into the bank; ht. 4, wd. 4.75, dp. 2.5 in.

Condition

Some paint loss and wear consistent with age and use. Donkey wobbles back and forth a bit when not cocked.
