Chinese Qing Dynasty red lacquer and gilt throne chair, the back panels and seat with paint and gilt landscape scenes including pavilions and trees, all bordered with paint and gilt foliate designs, above a short waist and shaped apron with matching foliate decoration, all raised on cabriole legs joined by a stretcher. 41" H x 39 1/4" W x 27 1/4" D.
