17th Century Massive Chinese Ming Dynasty gilt bronze Buddha figure of GuanGong, GuanDi.
The fine casted Buddha figure of the general GuanDi, modelled seated on a carved wooden throne with a draped elongated robes, with finely defined armor, the hair covered with a scholar's headscarf tied at the top with a ribbon, the face with a serene expression, with both hands resting on the lap. Extensive trace of gilt.

PROVENANCE: From New York Estate Sales and Auctions Near The Hudson, 1928. The same collections can be found from Lot-269 through Lot-322.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition, with normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent. Surface traced wear and or declined to gilding. Normal, considering ages and wears.
