Chinese Zisha teapot, in form of an inverted bell shape, with angled shoulder to a waisted rim, raised on a foot base, and crowned dome lid with simply bud finial. The design is simple yet elegant. Incised four marks on base, inner lid, hand, and handle. Covered overall in reddish-brown underglaze. The lid fitted perfectly unto gallery mouth without any gap. Incised maker's hallmarks on reverse lid, handle, and underbase.
