Chinese Qing famille rose porcelain meiping vase. A tall vase with a narrow mouth on a small neck resting on high and broad shoulders, tapering off to a shallow ring foot. The exterior delicately decorated in famille rose hand painting of gilt over glaze auspicious characters interspersed by colorful rococo floral foliate, all sets over a pale-green underglazed ground. Banded with gilt over glazed fine ring on the outer rim and soft color repeating lappets on the foot. The Meiping vase elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand.


Mark on base, a six underglazed blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
