Vintage 1950 GIRL SCOUT Calendar; illustrated with colorful depictions of wholesome girls to promote Girl Scout activities. The calendar seems to encourage cultural diversity among the Girl Scouts. The February page depicts an integrated Black African American Girl Scout. October's page shows the Senior Girl Scouts doing community service with young children including an African American boy. Approximate page size when closed is 10-3/4" x 8". Condition: There are pencil written notations throughout the calendar. One page is separated from the staple binding but remains present. Light soiling, staining, scuffs and edge wear.
