Josef Hoffmann was a founder of the Wiener Werkstätte and an important part of the Vienna Secession movement.
This original “J.& J. Kohn†circa 1900 wing back armchair #666 is an important early example of his work. It shows all the details and style that was to become his signature, bentwood frame, ball joints and bottom skid frame.
It has all original fabric. Original signed.
