This 1943 'Staple Cotton Fabrics Swatch Book' by John Hoye ia a comprehensive collection of over 250 swatches of fabrics with names, constructions, finishes, weaves, yarn varieties, standard cotton finishes & cotton print styles. This book is composed of a three-ring binder with eleven pages of title, contents page, and indexes. There are 44 pages of swatches. There are detailed indexes of classification of fabrics that include types, varieties of yarns, styles of prints and examples of standard finishes. In addition, there is an alphabetical fabric index by page number.

very nice condition. The binder hinges have been repaired. The holes that secure the pages are worn. Most of the swatches are in good shape but there is some yellowing to a few of the lighter color swatches from the glue.
