Description

A wonderful historic binder filled with photo's, stamps, first day covers, and postmarks from WWII. Included is an autographed (by three of the survivors) picture of the Doolittle Raiders (with a Sierra Leone stamp 'Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo featuring Van Johnson and Spencer Tracy) The Doolittle Raiders were the driving force in turning the war into a victory for America. Binder includes photo of Doolittle Raiders with a short story of their heroics, 15 official USN photos of naval craft (each with a description of what they are), 6 art reproductions of original paintings from "Great Fighting Ships of the 50 States" collection, 100 envelopes featuring first day commissions, stamps and postmarks.
