Description
This is a magnificent and somewhat rare colored map of the earliest plans for New York City. Some believe this is actually a Dutch plan, then later adapted by the British. Needless to say "Duke's Plan" in its original form resides in the British Library. This is a 1859 remake of that map for Valentine's Manual.
