Carved Bowl in the form of a Otter or Beaver?
Possibly American Indian? 19th Century. A carved wooden bowl in the form of a beaver or otter. The front is the head and the rear is the tail. The patina is very nice. There is a spout on the tail that is wood that contains a metal tube. There is a carved design around the edges and the base of the bowl. The head has to eyes a elongated head and four holes on the mouth section. Two in front (nostrils?) and two on side. In practicality, they may have been to place a cord to carry.
