Northern Europe, Viking / Norse cultures, ca. 800 to 1100 CE. A lovely gathering of four bronze cuff bracelets, each with a unique appearance. First is a solid band with flanged terminals and a dark-green patina. Second is another solid band with flanged terminals, but with a pale-blue-green patina with areas of sapphire-blue patina as well. A third band has flush nubbin-shaped terminals and displays both pale-green and deep-blue patina. Last is a beautiful twisted band composed of a single braided strand of bronze and flattened along the terminals. Prior to braiding, the single strand was first wrapped in an extremely-thin strip of bronze which, over time, has developed a stunning deep emerald-green patina. A fantastic assortment for any collector, and wearable for any occasion! Size of largest: 2.625" W (6.7 cm).
