These are volumes II (196 pages) and III (182 pages) of the 1925 Bibliophile Society publication, limited to 405 sets, of The Epistles of Pliny as translated by William Melmoth, and edited by Clifford H. Moore. The covers (6.5" x 9.125"), vellum spines with gold lettering and design, green paper-surfaced boards, are near fine, with surface scuffs but no notable stains, with a slight slant to Volume III's cover, but with both spines securely attached, the gilt as new, and the green unfaded.
