This rare square wristwatch was made in 1919 and originally sold on August 31, 1920. 1919 was the first year Patek made a square 18kt gold watch. This particular watch was limited and later changed. Wristwatches from this early period of production are becoming increasingly difficult to find on the market. Accompanied by a an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives (Geneva, September 26th, 2016, confirming that this watch was made in 1919 and sold on August 31st, 1920. The Extract also confirms production with Dauphine numerals.
