Item Details

Description

19th Century Victorian Plate Tea Urn Circa 1865 (Unmarked). A beautiful large Victorian plate tea urn decorated with floral hand engraving entwined around a double cartouche. The tea urn has a detachable lid which is crowned with a delightful cherub finial. The foot of the tea urn is plain formed in design.

Height: 20.5 inches/52cm (foot to top of finial)

Width: 12 inches/30.5cm (back of handle to back of opposite handle)

Condition: Very good throughout. Base metal is nickel, Time aged wear/bleeding to original plate, never been re-plated.
