Bartlett, Mrs. N. Gray. OLD FRIENDS WITH NEW FACES. Boston: Joseph Knight Co., 1892. First Edition. 11 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches in original color patterned cloth binding. Illustrated by 10 photographs using child models to enact Mother Goose rhymes - the first book by this Victorian-era photographer. The illustrations are printed on Japanese tissue and mounted onto heavier stock.

Condition

The binding shows handling wear and staining, heavier to the lower cover; the contents are clean and Very Good. Scarce on the market.
