Original gouache painting on cardstock signed ''Modigliani'' in the lower right. Image shows an elegant looking lady in a black dress with her hands clasped in front of her wearing a long green necklace. It is done in the expressionist style of Amedeo Modigliani (1885-1920). Very similar to Modigliani’s 1918 work ''Woman with a Green Necklace (Madame Menier)''. En verso the words ''Hotel Longchamp'' are stamped in ink and ''Paris ‘19'' is written in pencil in the lower right. Piece measures approximately 10.5'' x 7''.
