Tiffany & Co. Rare Solid Sterling Silver $50 "Tiffany Money" Coin in Original Tiffany Money Pouch (No Longer Produced) - This rare and unique piece is an authentic, $50 Tiffany Money coin. These coins were produced by Tiffany & Co. in the early 1980s, and are no longer in production. This is an extremely rare find, as after these coins were used at the stores, they were not recirculated into the open market. The front of the coin depicts a "T&Co" logo along with the denomination "Fifty Dollars", and the back of the coin reads "Tiffany Money redeemable in merchandise at Tiffany & Co.". This coin is made of solid sterling silver, and will come in the original Tiffany blue "Tiffany Money" pouch. These unique coins were created in various dominations, using different materials. The $25 and $50 coins are sterling silver, the $100 is vermeil, and the $1000 coin is solid 18k gold. This coin measures approx. 35mm in diameter. (WEIGHT: 29.5 grams)
