Description
Tantric sculpture depicting one variation of meditational deity Hevajra, linked here in Yab-Yum with his companion. The main character, looking almost angry, wears a five-point crown and holds a Ghanta in his right hand, while holding a kapala with his left. He is also carrying his companion along. Both figures are standing with bent knees in the position of the capasthana arch. Provenance: Collection Günter Heil (1938-2014), Berlin
