Stunning c19th Century folk art hand painted sled. Sled and bentwood rails painted in barn red primary paint with pale blue scrolls, green leaves with red and white flowers and black stripes. The front of the sled has graceful brass swans attached to the runners. Measures approx 33" x 15" x 15 1/4". Shows minor paint loss due to age. One of the side of the side rails shows a very old break in the wood
