Greek Apulian, ca. 300 B.C.
The lid is decorated with a head of fashion, and a bird on the opposite side, separated by two palmettes.
Dimensions: Height 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.), Width 8 1/2 in. (21.6 cm.)
Provenance: Ex- American private collection; Ex- European private collection, 1980's
Condition Report: Intact, excellent condition, almost all of the original painting is preserved.
