Description

Bruno Zach (1891-1945) exceptional gilt bronze desk set with figures of nude children, flowers and filigree. The large inkwell has large cornucopias overflowing with fruit and filigree. The clock (12.5 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep) has a 3.75 in. enamel decorated brass dial signed "Tiffany & Co.", typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed "Vincenti & Cie" with half hour strike on a bell. Set also includes a paperweight, rocking blotter, letter rack, ashtray with matchbook holder, seal stamp and lamp base (27 in. high.). Clock is running and striking, missing pendulum, good overall condition. Inkwell is singed "Bruno Zach" and "Aug. Fidler, Wein, '15" and measures 8.5 in. high x 24 in. wide x 11 in. deep. Weight: 77.5 lbs.
