Miriam Haskell 1940s Yellow Beaded Crescent Moon Brooch W/Swarovski Crystals - This spectacular, vintage brooch was made by Miriam Haskell and has a magnificent, multi dimentional design. The brooch was finely crafted of gold plated brass, and has an ornate, floral motif and filigree setting. The piece has a crescent moon shape with gold gilt leaves, and hand wired clear yellow and bright yellow tiny glass beads. The piece is then finished with yellow Swarovski crystal accents. On top of this gorgeous brooch are hand wired nubby glass beads that are transparent with a rich yellow center and are each adorned with a Swarovski crystal tip. This is truly a stunning, investment quality piece, as we have never seen another Miriam Haskell piece of jewelry quite like this one. This remarkable brooch was designed by Frank Hess, and is in beautiful condition. The back of the brooch is stamped with a Miriam Haskell signed oval cartouche. The brooch measures approx. 2.75" x 2".
