Description
This piece is a RZM M7/72 SA Dagger. The blade on this piece rates near mint. The cross grain is beautiful, the tip and fit are both perfect and the dark motto and maker mark are both beautifully executed. There are the common runner marks. The brown pained scabbard has 99% of its original paint still intact, with just a bit of age crazing. The steel nickel plated scabbard fittings are beautiful with 98% of plating still intact. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The Scabbard/ cross guard fit as near perfect. The nickel plated cross guards are in great shape, as well as matching the scabbard fittings in color, wear, and patina. The light brown hardwood grip has light normal marks. The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed and fits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit. This piece was a veteran bringback and was aquired from an estate in New London, Connecticut.
