Description
A Roman discus lamp with three theater masks, 2nd Century AD, with a crescent-shaped device on the shoulder. The body id round with short nozzle and ring handle; on base a stamped foot. L: 3 3/8 in (8.6 cm). Well preserved orange slip with light deposits.. Ex collection of John Hibner, acquired in Turkey during military service in the 1960's.
