The sky and much of the mountain have been thinly and lightly retouched very skillfully, not solidly covering these areas. There is some retouching in the left middle ground. There is a small patch at the lower edge of the canvas at the lower right and some light retouching on the front. There is another one about 8" above it. There is overall cracking, mostly visible in raking light
