George III-Style Mahogany Tripod Table
19th century, the tilting pie-crust-form top with a raised edge, on a birdcage support on a stop-fluted graduated standard to three splayed legs headed by acanthine carving and ending in ball-and claw feet.

Condition
There is an outside toe gone on two of the feet. The locking key to the birdcage is a replacement. The
top likely associated with the base. There are professionally plugged screw holes on the underside of the
top from a different set of battens. The top has an old refinish; the base probably retains its original finish.
The age appears to be 18th century.
