A lidded, twined basket with bear grass decoration of lozenges; southeastern Oregon or northern California area (Klamath, Pit River). Measures 6 x 6 inches.
Purchased from Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Sales and Rental Gallery on November 23, 1976. Native American baskets from the Fred Harvey collection were acquired by the museum in 1933 and some were offered in the museum sales gallery.
Measures 5.75 x 6 inches.
