The piece has a lovely, sophisticated triple-strand design, and has solid 18K brushed gold inserts. The pearls are 7.8mm-8mm in diameter. This is a very rare piece, and is possibly a piece that the Buccellati Archives Department would want to purchase back, as it is a very early piece (please see photo of early Buccellati signature). You simply do not see pieces like this anymore, as they do not exist in today's market. Vintage Buccellati pieces, such as this one can fetch as much as $60,000 at auction. The chunky solid 18K yellow gold "push lever" clasp is finished with brushed gold details as well, and the entire piece measures approximately 1" in width x 8.25" in length. This piece will come with a $55,000 appraisal for insurance purposes in the winning bidder's name. Most of the pearls in this piece are AA-AAA quality, and are the best of the best. You can see by the great attention to detail that this piece is the work of a master jeweler.
