A CHINESE MING DYNASTY STYLE CARVED JICHIMU AND WALNUT FOLDING JIAOYI "HUNT" CHAIR, PROBABLY REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949), the scrolling yoke form crest above a rectangular splat enclosing a pierced ruyi panel with a qilon detail above a pierced rectangular mythical creature with a double gourd among swirling clouds panel, over a twisted rope seat with an addorsed scrolling foliate dragon relief carved front, within a collapsible "X" form frame with a raised geometric and butterfly relief carved panel footrest, mounted with metal decoration. There are various minor finish variances, scratches, rub wear, a few pin sized holes intermittently throughout, and some mild fray to the rope seat, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
