Description
AUSTRIA, SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY A bent beech wood four panel folding screen crafted by the workshop of Michael Thonet. The screen consists of arched rectangular frame panels with a center oval with an interior bentwood roundel. The screen was part of the Barbra Streisand collection offered at Christie's East, March, 1994.
Provenance: Purchased from Christie's East, A Selection From The Barbra Streisand Collection, Part II, lot 151, March 4th, 1994.
Dimension: Overall about 82" across, each panel 20" wide, 70" tall.
