UNITED STATES, 20TH CENTURY An American watercolor on paper landscape painting of a Native American encampment. The work depicts a family of six including small children seated on the ground outside of a teepee amongst an empty village. As annotated the work is a contemporary representation of a Comanche Village from 1900 symbolic of the diminishment of a people. The work is signed in the lower right corner "Eubanks".
