This is an ORIGINAL VINTAGE COCKTAIL RING that was HANDMADE during the 1950s from 18K WHITE GOLD. It is stamped 18K and ORIGINATES from GERMANY. The ring is set with 1 NATURAL AMETHYST that weighs approx. 9.5 CARATS! This stone is a FACETED OVAL SHAPE measuring 15.3 x 12.3 x 8.8 mm and it has medium color. The ring is framed with 24 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS of I color, SI clarity that weigh approx. .60 ctw. The wirework setting extends upward and ends just on the outside of the diamond frame. The ring measures 7/8" long by 3/4" at the widest point and it sits 7/16" high off the finger. The ring has a VERY SOLID MAKE, weighing a HEAVY 12.7 grams. The ring size is a 7-3/4. The white gold is not bright white anymore due to age and wear, but if you want that bright shiny new look, you can have the ring rhodium plated like all new white gold is.
