Congo. Tetela people. Ceremonial sword ornate with leather. Used also as currency. Early 1900 AD. 490 gr. (17,2 oz) - 52x10,5 cm. (20x4,1 inch). EF. Rare. The Tetela people (or Batetela in the plural) are an ethnic group of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, most of whom speak the Tetela language.
