Of compressed globular form, flat round flat panel, the cover deftly carved with five-clawed dragon leaping from turbulent cresting waves, detailed with ferocious faces and embossed scaly bodies, writhing amongst stylized clouds and flame wisps. Bordered with band of embossed knops, above lotus blooms borne on dense meandering leafy and budding stems on the lemon-yellow ground sides. The decoration enhanced with gilt over glazed on the dragon motif and bands.
Mark on the turquoise-green glazed base, incised six gilt seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing
