The domed lid crowned with characterizing pierced gilt bronze finial in dragons motif. The exterior decorated in enamel filled gilt bronze cloisonne works with colorful scrolling leafy tendrils suspending lotus blossoms against pale-turquoise-blue enamel ground. Elephant - is the last of the 4 Animals of Power and Energy. It represents strength, sagacity, and prudence.The cloisonne censer displayed upon a carved hardwood stand in ruyi motif.

Mark on base, incised four characters enclosed by square frame border, QianLong Reign Period.

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in excellent condition.
