Chinese Song Dynasty traditional painting of ink and color on silk. From private collections of Mrs. E. B. Greppo, of Los Angeles, CA., by inheritance. Acquired from H. Taylor Curtis Co. Salesroom on 915 W. Seventh St., Los Angeles. Behalf S. KAJIWARA of 939 W. 7th St. Los Angeles, CA; during Oriental Works of Art rare and valuable Antiquities sales commencing on February 1924.
Hand painting with fine brush strokes and textured rendering of scholars and attendant within landscape, with hints of soft natural color. Showing inscription on upper right, and numerous red signature seal. Mounted on a grayish silk border.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (paper or silk), regardless from any major damages; includes light blooms, discoloration and minor fading. Consider normal due to the ages.
