This is a lot of 2 lovely old hand carved Washboards from the Dogon peoples, Mali, Africa. Such objects were used for decades , even centuries, showing obvious age and use, it could very well be a late 19th , early 20th century example.The boards measure 24 inches tall x 10 inches and 22 inches tall x 8 inches wide. obvious age and field use, well worn and decayed wooden handle.

Condition

Very well weathered and worn, what remains is solid.
